Latest ONN 4K Pro Firmware Update WILL likely mess with your USB Ethernet Adapter
I don’t know if anyone else has discovered this, but I am stoked! The one thing I really dislike about the ONN remote is that it has no pause function. You mentioned it in the video about it months ago.
BUT…my husband just accidentally hit the black center of the white circle control (OK) button. It functions as a pause button. If you all already knew this, please forgive my ignorance. But, if you didn’t, it is worth knowing.
I have an issue with the sound on onn 4kpro. After 5-8 hours the sound would just stop. Rebooted, change hdmi sources, only returns after onn box has been turned off. So i chalk it up to defective unit. Then bought another and had same issue but would go longer. But the same problem, sounds failed.
Anyone experienced this problem? I also have the onn4k (not pro) works excellent.
Does anyone know if you can activate a mouse curser on the new Onn 4K remote? Thanks.
IMO Ethernet is so 2015ish. Was the rage back in the day before all the high speed fiber and when wireless could be dicey. Haven’t used Ethernet in several years due to much faster and much more stable wireless via Fiber
