Guess with Google and Amazon, we SHOULD turn off google assistant / Alexa as they are always listening - how can we be sure off what data they are collecting.

I know technically, we have to press a button to activate the mic but can we trust them?

Google a privacy-focused company, who ever believed that? They make money selling users data.

Does anyone know how to turn off Google Assistant in the Shield Pro. Thanks in advance for your sage advice.

Yup. Settings>Device preferences>Google Assistant>Toggle to off
