Google vs Epic trial reaches verdict with ‘illegal monopoly’
I believe this is why some apps require the Play Store be enabled on your device for their app to function properly. I have a few apps that require the use of Play Store’s Google Pay system to determine if you have an active premium account for their app so you will have total functionality of all that app’s features.
yes sir. Tivimate got it right with the companion app. That was genius to keep the ability to use tivimate without the need of the playstore. And although I do own the sparkle app and do like it I rarely use it because it requires me to be logged into the playstore to function properly.
EXACTLY!
YoWindow (weather app) also requires Play Store be active and I believe I have one more besides Sparkle that requires it, too.
I used to ALWAYS disable the Play Store when I was finished using it. I may uninstall YoWindow so I can disable the Play Store, but I really do like that weather app. Sparkle I couldn’t care less. I doubt that app will ever overtake Tivimate. The developer, although, seemingly active, does not seem to be too interested in copying some of the popular Tivimate features. He basically stated he wants the app to be a simple player like in the days of old when you turned on your tv. Power on and switch the channel to what you want.
How Stupid. Who wants to just turn on the tv and watch it… Well I just never

Tivimate is like the Shield in regard to updating. Both are at their respective pinnacles and until they hear footsteps, I guess they won’t be in any hurry to push out any updates. lol
rumor has it that tivimate was purchased and after that happnd updates ceased. Not sure how true that is but updates are dead in the water for some time.
Could be? I do know a name change was made; “AR Mobile Dev” and recently name changed to “Armobsoft FZE”
With over a MILLION downloads, which I believe the vast majority of them would be the Premium download. This guy, in 5 years, has raked in over $25 Million is sales …so far!
Yeah…$30 of that was mine for a lifetime subscription.
Geee… I hope I get my money’s worth.
watching some videos of bill dance fishing that i recorded on tivimate right now…works great
I’ve had mine for over 2 yrs so as I don’t intend shuffling off this mortal coil anytime soon, I figure I got damn good value for money spent.
Yes it is definitely a valuable streaming tool. I have had mine most of this year.
