I pot it on my phone but I can’t get it to copy an Paste anything . I find it very hard to use . My lean- back keyboard works but It don’t have Copy an paste . I don’t no why my Gboard app don’t work .
On the remote app, are you able to copy but having trouble with the paste? Just long press in the text input box and the paste option should appear.
I can’t get it to do anything . I lone press the swipade but it won’t do anything .
If you’ve never copied and pasted anything using an Android phone/tablet before it can be kinda hard to get the hang of. It’s all about the long press and then dragging your finger across the text you want to copy until it’s higlighted in blue, then raise your finger up and touch the copy option. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it. Sort of like learning to drive a car with a standard transmission. Ease out the clutch, give it a little but not too much gas. 
I Iong press what I want to turn blue but I can’t get it to do that .I tried to reinstall Gboard but it just stays at uninstalling in playstore .
I’m at a loss. Sorry! I don’t know what the problem may be. So does everything else work, you just can’t copy and paste?
try turning off developer options, reboot and see if it returns
How do you turn it off ?
settings> Device preferences>Scoll down to Developer options>Enable/Disable developer options.
Note ~ you will need to go back to turn it back on and redo whatever settings in there you changed. So make a note of what you changed!
Settings>Device Preferences>About>Build and click about 7 times until it says you are now a developer
I turned it off . Didn’t work . Im giving up . This isn’t the first app to do this on my Nvidia Sheild . Pluto did the same thing even went to their customer service an they couldn’t even figure it out . Thanks for your help guys .
Then do a factory reset.
You guys arn’t going to believe this but all of a sudden my Gboard popped on out of the blue . Their most have been a glitch . That made my day .
