Great review from Troypoint. I agree with you I would love to see a manufactuer integrate the remote with Tivimate similar to formuler but at a decent price. I also use an HD homerun and see that you did not list it as compatible and that alone kills the deal for me. I would love an app like tivimate to recognize my homerun and it would be joy joy :slightly_smiling_face:

@TXRon Thanks for your comment. HD Homerun should still work on this box just fine. What I was referring to are tuners that you can plug directly into the device to get live local channels. From what I remember, the Homerun connects to router and you then have to install the app through Google Play and you can do that on any Android device. This here is something that you just plug directly into the unit itself.

Wow, good review. Its a decent box. Any users who get this don’t feel obligated to use mytvonline2, you can customize the remote to work with tivimate.

In my opinion tivimate and mytvonline2 are the top players. Tivimate works really well on this. Also mytvonline2 does use m3u lists, just a heads up. I appreciate the review, its pricey but its one durable box, my z8 pro still works flawless.

Good to know you have an earlier model. Is formuler pushy with its stuff or do they let you decide? compared to an amazon product or even google since its their os. I know my boxes such as mecool, ugoos and even onn do not force anything on (yet :rofl:)

@TXRon

The frimware is semi locked due to mytvonline2, so you cant flash it. But other than that no, not at all. You can remove its pre installed stuff easily

Thanks, so its still under consideration by me when they have a flash sale :joy:…

and I see people begging online for them to release mytvonline2 to the public :sunglasses:

@TXRon

It wont be, its a really good player. But id consider it. You wont be disappointed.

Quick question for Dracoo or Troypoint. Where is the formuler manufactured? I would guess China but who knows.
