Firestick Doesn't recognize USB

I have attempted to add USB storage to 3 Tv’s. The oldest of the 3 recognized the usb drive, the 2 new ones do not. I am using Sansdisk 32gb 2.0 sticks, formatted FAT32. What am I missing?

I have 2 FS Max. Using same USB drives and cables. 1 recognizes the drive, the other doesn’t.
