As I mentioned Anth use the search at the top there are all sorts of articles with regards to this issue and one of them should be able to help you out.
Thatâs just an example of one and thatâs on Troyâs main site but there are also other articles here as well, various methods, explanations as to why you canât find it where it can be found how to do it itâs just a matter of reading looking at them and finding the one that works for you

Thank you for your cooperation as well and please donât take this as any sort of an attack on you itâs just that Troy has had so many of the exact same topics posted Time after Time after Time and this just takes up a lot of space and itâs actually unnecessary space so heâs trying to get people to learn to use the search and do a lot of reading first and then if after youâve read everything thatâs available you canât find an answer then post a brand new topic. 
I did not have the option to turn off the Auto-Off loader. I did an update on my Fire Stick 4K Max and still do not have the option to turn it off.
Is this an older 4K Maxx or the brand new 2023 4K Maxx

On my new 4kmax it wonât let me turn it off either.
Go to 2 min mark of video this should show you how to stop it. On the new OS 8 firesticks custom launcher is available so you also can use launchers to avoid this as well.https://youtu.be/vNvL6Wl3I9A
Anyone else have this happen while not using Firestick? I have disabled auto delete for storage issues so this wouldnât happen. Anyone elseâs have this happen and have a fix? TYIA

Just had this happen to me. This is a first for me in all my years of using these sticks. Thanks so much for the helpful video to help fix this issue. I am going to be getting the newest version soon. Some helpful info in this thread to fix this issue on those versions as well. I will bookmark this topic for sure.
I have a 2nd generation 4k max. I looked at my storage earlier today and I had 6.80 out of the 12.86 they give you. While watching tv tonight the window pops telling me Iâm low on storage. I now have 692MB of storage. I went to my apps and noticed they had deleted most of my sideloaded ones. I tried to install Surfshark from downloader and the amazon appstore but it told me I donât have enough storage. They deleted a bunch of apps and I still donât have enough storage. My sd card is set up for recordings only.
Do you have any suggestions on what to do?
