Firestick 4K. No developer options. I'm Stuck!

This evening, the latest Amazon Update on my firestick 4K led to a black screen on reboot. There was no way to get rid of it, I tried everything but was forced to do a factory reset.

Now, having let it update numerous times over the last 2 hours, when I enter Settings there are NO Developer Options available, so no possibility of loading 3rd party apps.

It did reinstall the Downloader App during one update, however when I tried to download the Remote ADB Shell App (to reinstall my flash drive) using the Troypoint.com/radb link, I got a “Forbidden” message informing me I couldn’t.

Now I’m left with a basic Firestick with no way to update. What do I do now?

Settings>My Fire TV>About>Fire TV 4K Max (this is the name of my stick) click on the name 7 times. Dev options enabled.
