I’ve used many over the years - CinemaHD was my favorite for a while - but most eventually disappointed in some way or just stopped working or were killed off and resurrected as a new version months or years later. I got tired of having to find a new one or upgrading every few months and having to configure everything again. Stremio seemed to be the most stable and reliable. I’ve tried Kodi and absolutely hate it.

For anyone still following, I recently upgraded to the 2nd gen Firestick 4K Max and the difference is amazing. As mentioning in my OP, I was only getting around 40Gbps at best on the old stick with Surfshark running but get around 130Gbps on the new. I’m not entirely sure why, although based on TP’s recent video about how the processor can dramatically affect throughput, I figure that likely has something to do with it. In any case, I can now watch most 4K content on Stremio without issue.
