I have a fire tablet which is getting pop ups all the time which is very annoying . How can i stop this ?.

Open the Quick settings menu and tap on More.
Then, go to Applications > Amazon Applications.
Next, tap on Silk and click on Block pop-up windows, select Always and you are done.

Let me know if there are popups other than from your browser. Could be another app causing them, but as you didn’t specify where the popups come from I’ll start with that.

  1. With the web browser open, swipe from the left side of the screen.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Tap Advanced Settings.

  4. Tap Site Settings.

  5. Set Pop-ups to “Blocked
