I cannot get my fire stick 4K Max to load , when I power it up the fire tv screen logo comes on and after a few minutes the screen goes black and text in bottom right corner says loading and then nothing , I contacted Amazon they said they cannot help but offer me a 20% discount trade in on a new one, this seems very bad to me as I have found out it is Amazons fault as it was there download that bricked the fire stick, I also went on U-TUBE to find out more and apparently it is quite common I also followed all the u-tubers remedies and nothing works. Has anyone else had this problem, I can’t even factory reset it any help would be great.
have you tried to factory reset using the remote only
Yes tried every thing nothing works.
a few people on here have had that happen i dont think there is a remedy sorry i couldnt help
If this update bricked it, I’m afraid there isn’t an option to unbrick it.

happened to a buddy of mine 4 of them but he had filelinked i believe on them which sent viruses to them all.

I have gone through 2 firesticks in 6 months. I just installed my third one I have no idea why they are going bad but I have the same issue. It comes on but then goes to the logo which shrinks to about 1/3 of the screen and I can’t do anything. Hopefully this new FireStick will last longer. I also have the Walmart Onn but haven’t used it. I guess I will hold it to use if this firestick goes out. Does anyone know what it does this?
happened to two of my firestick 4K’s. Could not save either of them, but did motivate me to purchase a formuler box.

Maybe we should take all those fire sticks that are bricked put them in a box filled with dog s*** and send it to Amazon administration.
My question is, they know about it, now what the blazes are they going to do about it? Can you say “class action law suit”. I don’t blame anyone for dropping Amazon like a hot potatoe.

If you have a USB drive connected to your Firestick, power off and remove it. I was having a problem with my 4K, and had to re-format the thumb drive that I had connected to it.
