That would be interesting to find out if/how long that would work…would the app be home free of whatever the amazon update is/was doing…or would it get snagged after his first reboot.
The app installed from my X-plore as an apk.
I just download as an android app, either from the Play Store or downloaded from a website and send it. I don’t download anything from the App Store unless I have no other choice.
So, I would imagine sending a file that did not originate from the App Store would be clear of any Amazon junk.

Oh it isn’t getting it on the Max that’s the problem. It’s that they no longer functioned or functioned properly. Tx PF. I have apps2fire that works great for me. I get the apps installed but each one reacts with different problems.
