When I install new apps they go directly to the stick memory and not the added memory that I put on.

It depends where you get the app from. So on the sticks, as they are Amazon, you can get apps from the App Store. Now as these are considered to be “Official” apps they get installed directly onto the stick and do not have any option to move them. Take “Background Apps and Process List”. Installed from the app store it goes on the sticks memory and cannot be moved. Get the exact same app from APKPure and the dev will have coded into the app the ability to move it onto the USB. In the “Official” App Store Amazon has the Dev remove or elimate that code. Their reasoning is that the app store has auto updating and in order for any Amazon certified app to update it must go onto the sticks to preserve this ability.
