Express VPN Reviews

I originally used ipVanish but had BAD luck with it. Switched to Express VPN three years ago and love it. Very reliable and completely trouble free.

I’m new to this Forum, but cannot say how happy I am that there is a Troypoint. In the VPN arena there are individual requirments that customers have to meet.
For Private individuals, their needs are a little different.
I’ve had XPRESSVPN FOR 1year now as it was the best referral Troy had at the time. I believe it to be the best as it has not had one issue pop up, which means I haven’t had any! And if decisions are money based, well then you have to consider everything when you’re watching your dollars, which we all do! If Troy makes an opportunity available, it probably wouldn’t be bad to look at it. Good luck everyone!

Anybody that uses ExpressVPN having issues after the latest set of updates? Mine never used to drop when waking up boxes, etc, but now it seems to be disconnected and manually reconnect. I don’t care too much for myself, I am more concerned with my family when I am at work.

I was going to ask the same question here. Mine have been disconnecting randomly lately as well as friends who use it. Never had a single issue until the last month or so. I did notice on a couple that I had the beta installed. I unenrolled and seems more stable now. Done with the beta. I did at times go to a different one bouncing between SS & Hide .me

It just started with the last update or two that they put out close together. Almost like they knew there was an issue but the newer update didnt fix it. I pay more for Express because it has been the most rock solid VPN by far I have ever tried, so this is disappointing. I may try and reach out this weekend to see of I get an answer.

Not since 11.27.0 has it been working right here. Yesterday I updated to 11.31.0 and things seem normal so far. I’ve been bombarding their support with emails and screenshots so hopefully it’s fixed. :person_shrugging:

Exactly why I use it and recommend it to family & friends. I’ve had it run for weeks to test it and until recently, it just runs. I tell them it is pricey but it’s been flawless for me until that update

Just noticed now it’s at version 11.34.0, so now I’ll test that🤦

Thanks. I just checked my one box and it’s v11.31.0

Appreciate the feedback guys. I was worried it was just me. Something definitely has gone wrong on their end with one of the updates. Hope we can figure out which one and Express fixes it for everybody.

Hey @AMD237 good day my friend. Can you uninstall the latest Express and go back to an older fully working one until they fix it, or does it have an auto update that you can’t turn off?

The v11.31 is on our ONN box. I just checked our Shield Pro and it’s running 11.33.0

Hey @Miki, hope you are doing well! The little ones have me super busy now, so sorry for not being as active posting in here. Still always around reading, though. Oldest is getting ready to go to Kindergarten this fall and youngest is 8.5 months now.

I will check this weekend and report back which versions of Express app all my boxes are now. I absolutely may have to try and install an older version. It is unnerving to see my wife not close out of Tivimate the night before and then when box wakes back up the next day and Express has disconnected, the dot is red and Tivimate IPTV is playing. Ugh.

Ya, that’s why I thought maybe going back to an older version would give ya peace of mind. I’ll check some libraries for ya. As for the kids man I’m jealous, the universe decided we weren’t to have kids, but I still love the little ones with all their wonder, thirst for discovery and learning. Be well my friend.

11.27.0 was the last properly working version here but I’m testing 11.34.0 and seems to be fixed.

Did you get 11.34 from Express website?

Just updated one box. 4 more to go

Thanks Papa!!! First box I updated was on 11.31.0, and was having issues at that version. Will continue to look at other boxes versions and keep an eye on 11.34.0.

I just updated my Express vpn on my 3 boxes. I had 11.31.0 from Google play store. Now I will use the Express site to update Thanks PapaS
