I have extended my Firestick 4k storage with an SD card partitioned as in Troypoint’s excellent tutorial. I have no problem with the apps on it. I want to create a folder on the storage partition but when I use Es File Explorer (as installed from the Rapid App Installer) I am prevented from doing so.
In ESFE I select SD Card under local, press the + button and then select ‘folder’ from the option list. A little pop-up appears saying ‘Auth Failed’. It appears that I don’t have the authority to do this although the partition has r/w permissions. Obviously I am doing something wrong - can anyone please tell me how?
