This comprehensive review guide features EasyDebrid with important information you should know before purchasing this service. EasyDebrid is a debrid or resolving service for cord-cutters, compatible with streaming apps and APKs featuring video-on-demand content. It has come under fire recently for not functioning properly and many are wondering if it is a scam altogether. If…
I’ve been with Real-Debrid for over 7 years now, and I will stick with them. Their price point is very reasonable and it works great with Umbrella in Kodi. I never have any buffering problems, and rarely get a link that won’t play. If it works, don’t fix it.
Interesting. I subscribed late last year to try them and haven’t had any problems.
It is hard to get any concrete info on them, but they seem to be at least loosely affiliated (or have a deal with) with Premimumize.me since their cache is an exact copy. From what I saw back then it was an option to allow access to premiumize.me’s cache without the fair use points and extra features like usenet and cloud storage, ability to add to cache etc. at a lower price point.
For the $36 I paid no complaints at all, they even provided access to Debridio, a torrentio alternative for Stremio. I’m not sure what to think of the Reddit posts but I don’t give them much weight because there is too much shilling and astroturfing there, especially when services were trying to increase market share after the RD drama. I think they admitted to the service suffering from being pushed out faster than they wanted due to the RD situation at the time, but I would not have known of any problems without reading this post. It just works for me.
That being said I probably won’t keep them since I have multiple debrid services (I like to try different ones) and don’t need all of them. I hope whatever drama/problems going on are straightened out since more options is good for everyone, especially ones located in different regions.
yeah I’ve been with RD for sometime also since 2015
I too have been with Real-Debrid for many years without problem and will continue to stay with them as they are the best bang for the buck for reliable service out there.
I agree with you. I’ve tried others but rd provides the most links it seems.
I have both PM and RD and love them both. Together they are unbeatable IMHO.
Good call @TROYPOINT on this one. I follow their Discord channel and the developer (Dave) has apparently gone M.I.A.
Nobody has heard from him, no longer answering pm’s and he’s been missing for more than 30 days. Starting to look more and more like a scam every day. ![]()
Interesting. The service is streaming fine. Watching from it now.
This has always been an odd duck with lots of questions, but for me performs great. I’m still not renewing though; I have to trim down and want to try other options.
Currently working here too but I’m not sure for how much longer. The developer had big plans switching from Easy Debrid to what was supposed to be Debrider and all customers would get emails in batches to move over and that was to be completed by the end of September. But not everyone got the emails and apparently those that had migrated over to Debrider are reporting everyday it gets worse and worse. And Dave the developer has seemed to have left the building. I don’t plan on renewing. ![]()
I knew it was a risk going in and half expected it to crash and burn, looks like it is headed that way. I think my sub expires next month so no big deal, at least I got usage from it.
At least my $23 Torbox sub paid off
It has steadily improved.
Thanks for posting this. It made me go ahead and officially cancel and I made sure the virtual card I used is locked so I don’t have to worry about any shenanigans.
I don’t understand why anyone would veer from Real Debrid to try these other services in hopes of getting more sources, less cost etc. Real Debid is cheap and has always worked for me. If I get 1 4K or 1080P source and it works I’m good. But then again I’m not fussy about Dolby+, HDR10 or whatever. 4K or 1080P and I’m good
You hit the nail on the head. You’re happy with what you get and for others they want better. Good thing we have options to obtain better if that’s what we want and don’t all do it your way. I have high end equipment and absolutely love being able to use it, as it was meant to be used, and for me that means not settling for less than the best I can get. So while you don’t understand I’m afraid that doesn’t really matter or even fit into my considerations.
Yep, we all want what we want.
I absolutely want the best remux I can get and I also want the version of a film I want. There are some movies with 4-5 different cuts available, Theatrical, Directors, Extended, Ultimate, American, International etc. Sometimes it doesn’t make a big deal, sometimes it does.
Then on the other end there is the hard-to-find stuff that that isn’t available on all of the debrids, even RD with its large cache, so sometimes you get the file from an alternate. Most popular stuff is available on all of the big ones but if you dig into an actor/director’s videography and start looking for less known films they can be very hard to find in decent quality. I try to add all of the stuff I can’t find to the cache of the debrids I use but if no one watches it then it will just fall back off.
I checked the service out, out of interest after having seen PapaS’ comment saying the developer has seemingly left the building.
Both the EasyDebrid purchasing site as well as the Debrider site that ED’s users were supposed to be migrated to are down as of this moment. This looks like a full-on take the money and run situation now. I really hope those who signed up for it and don’t actively follow any sites or news will cancel their payments or lock their cards down in time.
I always signup with a virtual CC and set it to lock for just this reason, but it was good to double check.
The site I purchased through https://paradise-cloud.com/ is still up but this is definitely a strange situation. Even if they were able to successfully migrate, they would have a hard time overcoming the doubt and damage to their reputation.
I wonder how long it will keep streaming like a headless zombie.
That’s really interesting. When I checked, the paradise-cloud site itself was up, but going to Products and picking EasyDebrid showed an error. Now it’s working again, while the debrider.app site for the “revamp” so to speak is still down.
I did some research and apparently your headless zombie analogy is spot on. The reason it is still going is because it is just a service reselling Premiumize’s cache. So they most likely have a contract granting them access, and as soon as that runs out, they’ll have nothing.
