Does anyone have a solution for downloading torrents from Stremio onto USB stick. I have Stremio on fire stick, with usb attached. Do any players apart from EX have the ability to download a torrent to hard disk? ADM doesn’t appear to work properly.
Thanks in advance
Are you talking about the raw torrent in m3u or you talking about a movie itself
Does anyone know how to download/copy movies from Stremio for viewing later?
Thanks
From the Stremio web site…
Can I download a video and watch offline?
“Available offline is an upcoming feature, but if you allow Stremio to cache on your device (from the settings panel) you can watch the videos later without a connection.”
sounds easy peasy, but i do not use Stremio so i have no clue, all i did was go to their site and read stuff…
Pull up the movie you want on Stremio, pause it, right click on the display and the bottom option is “download movie”. Super fast (usually less than 5 seconds)!
That feature is on my computer Stremio, but not on my Shield Pro.
I used ADM (Advanced download manager) then when starting a movie I would pause it and go to the bottom settings and choose “play with” and select ADM. Fast and I mean fast download. Give it a try. I no longer have it installed as I only download to test for others, I don’t take movies with me when travelling or have the need to save anything.
I would just save whatever it is to your library and watch it later, it will be there until you delete it.
Ah, OK, you’re probably right. I always download from my computer if I want to watch something later and the internet’s down. Put it on my NAS and watch on the TV.
I only mentioned it because I turned my friend onto Stremio and he records programs. I told him I never saw the option on my Shield. Checked it out on my computer and the option is there …I wish the features of the web Stremio were added to the Android version, especially the calendar.
Maybe a dumb nube question, but Stremio is an android app isn’t it? Are you using an emulator like BlueStacks on your computer (assuming Windows?).
Stremio runs on Windows and no need for an android emulator.
It’s probably the best way to set it up first using a Windows pc.
Yes, there’s a Windows version of Stremio that’s far easier to set up addons and premium services than the android version. Then just log in from your android device and everything you set up on Windows is there, too.
