I was going to update this last night but never got the chance. When I looked this morning, I saw that it had updated itself on my Onn 4k.

I like the new logo, it seperates itself from the other download apps that had similiar logos.

I thought Troypoint had acquired the Downloader app a couple years back. I even remember when the app was opened, Troypoint was shown as the owner. I know this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but seeing this story just reminded me of this.

I noticed this recently resetting and updating a firestick. I know it’s hard to keep up with your tutorials and videos but it would nice to add this info and new logo, because at first I thought it was a different app, and not the original downloader. Thanks.

I, for one, truly admit that it can be difficult keeping up with all the changes that is going on in streaming world. But I do recall somebody posting, some time back, that it is important to read all of Troy’s newsletters. Even if the content may not pertain to you. Troy did post that Downloader had changed 4 days ago as well, the thread was posted here, roughly the time that it change over to the new logo.

Mine hasn’t updated itself on my T95Z+.
Still on 1.45.

Agree, and I always read the text first before watching a video. But I was re-loading a firestick and new Downloader was on the Appstore, but the logo threw me for a moment until I downloaded it. Thanks, good points.
But on his best Kodi Build “Diggs Xenon Burst” is not available on the repo, but “Diggs Xenon Plus” or Chef Xenon. . I was concerned at first I did it wrong but went back and no mention of the “Burst” build?

I just want to RE-CONFIRM that I downloaded the new Downloader, not seeing Troy’s Aug 14th email/notice. I didn’t see it on the instruction tutorial, so though I’d mention it. So no more need to remind me of his email. Thanks :o)

I misunderstood you. I thought you had meant that there weren’t any instructions or information regarding the new design. The link I gave above certainly doesn’t refer to any email, nor did I, but it does link to the information on troypoint.com

Used the updated Downloader app. to download Tea TVplayer app. but gave an error on link provided by the Troypoint Tool for it.I got around from it by using APK app. on player apps provided there.
