I use Downloader with my VPN active all the time. I’m sorta the anti @MarkxG.

I used to use a VPN when I had Spectrum and the rare time I needed to Download a show or movie on KODI to watch on a plane. But ever since I fired them and got AT&T Fiber I don’t even need a VPN for that. But that could be because of Cached Torrents and Real Debrid. Do as you need. But I’ve found I don’t need a VPN and doing this for many years. As you say @Miki this hobby has many options

That’s absolutely correct. Turn off the VPN, after download turn the VPN back on.
I had this very thing happen to me 3 or 4 times in a row and frustratingly quit for the night. I went back in the next day and the website was working properly. It’s nothing you’re doing wrong. Just try again later. The toolbox gave me a captcha code and told me to enable cookies as well. I would put in the captcha code and it wouldn’t work. I also could not find any cookies to enable in the browser. Just go back in the next day and try again.
