I cannot download Toolbox. Downloader says c heck URL and connection. Both are working. What next?

Are you using the new Onn 4K Pro Box? I was having similar issues but I returned it and bought a Firestick 4K MAX and now have no issues.
You don’t “download” Troy’s 
you open the web page in downloader and then scroll through it to get what you want. This is why Troy recommends that you add the URL to your “Favorites” in downloader.

I was able to uninstall downloader then reinstall it and it opened.
I got the toolbox and added it to my favorites. I did not download it.,

Is anybody else having problems with downloader today? i can type in a url and it works fine. gives the connection error message when i use a code. different boxes, same internet.
Update: connected to the hotspot on my phone and downloader works just fine on ONN boxes. Was working fine 2 days ago, I have made no changes. Running no firewall. My spectrum internet in USA is what is the problem I guess. I am running no security suite through spectrum. Or maybe a setting in my router? Linksys Smart Wifi Router. But I have made no changes is what is bothering me. Any help or ideas would be mucho appreciated.
Yep I’m having the same problem. I tried the latest sports app code recommended and I get the same error message.
did you try connecting to your hotspot on your cell phone? that worked for me. wich tells me its not my router. maybe my internet company blocked something?
replaced router.. problem fixed.. don’t know what the issue was.. or a fix. except change routers.. i think is a DNS security thing.. maybe

Hi, I just had to factory reset my Nvidia and now downloader gives me a message,” forbidden” when I use Troypoint code and the address. Is there a downloader issue?
Sounds like a permissions issue. Make sure you have allowed all files permissions etc. for the Downloader.
