I used it on Saturday just fine. It was on offload and I had to turn it back on and give permission. Then enter the code, I wanted. Maybe uninstall and reinstall?

I have Gboard as my keyboard on my Shield Pro and I can honestly say there isn’t any blinking cursor. The KB has characters on a black background and the letter/number/character that I’m on turns black on a white background showing where I am, using the navigation ring I go right/left/up/down using my remote and then click enter to choose the character I’m on. Now a cursor will become active if I turn my Mini KB on and then use my trackpad to move around. But never any blinking cursor.,

battery’s were the first thing == about ready to give up, it works with Netflix, the KB comes up. . The keyboard does not come up.on Downloader with the shield. I did notice that with the firestick it took 2 or 3 rapid clicks to come up, not with shield

I tried tv bro on my shield but it will not work with my vpn on. Do you have to turn off vpn every time you use it? My vpn is pia. Private internet access.

new to TVBRO but appears to work with IPVanish

Works just fine with my Proton VPN.

Thanks for the info. May have to switch over to different vpn, also have same problem on computer, some sites will not open, can not get into bank account with vpn on due to it showing different ip address.

You may have to have it off to do the initial download. I run my VPN 24/7 and it works fine with TVBro.

did not make any difference with IPV= still no KB

I deleted tv bro, turned off vpn downloaded tv bro then open it and it worked, however when i turned vpn back on did not work sends a captcha thinking i am a robot. Seems to be aproblem with private internet access. I down load all my apps with vpn on with no problem, its only when i try to access internet. Time for a different vpn

I went into settings on private internet access. Allow lan traffic was off, when i turned it on the internet worked, also it gave warning that google may be able to bypass this. Not sure what that means, but anyway can access internet with vpn on. Problem solved thanks.

I turn my VPN off long enough to download then turn it back on

Look in permissions in the main settings. That happened to Me and it was about permissions. Sometime to download from Troy’s tool box I have to disable Google play… Even with VPN off… Until after I download the app or apk I want. You can enable and disable in settings.

I had the same problem on my shield. The problem is in the nvidias keyboard settings. I think I had to disable the one I was using and dl another keyboard.

any chance you recall what you went from to? is this something from the update?

KB Downloader app[ does not appear, how should it be set up on Nvidia Shield Pro. Worked until recently, Nvidia update / Tivimate up creating a problem?
