While Surfshark may work with Netflix it does NOT work on a firestick that is configured with Alexa Home Theater speakers. All is OK when the VPN is connected and for the durations of the connection. When the VPN is disconnected the Home Theater sound is cut off. Surfshark connects the Home Theater Speakers to the IP SSID of the Firestick, not to the SSID created by the Firestick for Home Theater. I hav reported this to Surfshark customer support and have been sent around in circles with recommendations to use a router VPN , a Hotspot, etc. None of which correct the Surfshark software error. Perhaps since Troypoint seems to have a relationship with Surfshark it might be possible to communicate with a software engineer who knows something about the App.
