I use the modified AdGuard 4.9.32 ad blocker from APKTime on my OS7 and OS8 Firesticks but have several OS6 devices (Firestick 4k Gen 1) on which it won’t install (get a “parsing error” when I try). So I installed the regular version (4.8.32 is the last one that will install) which installs on the Gen 1 4k stick for the 7 day trial. After 7 days, it’s supposed to revert to AdGuard Free but mine wont load when I try to run it. just takes me to a login page which errors out before I can log in. Cant run it so can’t get to any settings to see what might be going on.
Anybody use AdGuard Free on their Gen 1 4k sticks and getting it to work???

Not quite. I run Adguard Home with custom block lists on my router, Flint 2.
Also have Amazon update IP’s blocked so my remaining Firesticks can’t update and disable alternate home launchers.
Is there any ad blocker that works on the Firestick that will block ads from Paramount Plus

Blockada works quite well but you must use v4.15 on the firestick and select the Adguard DNS in settings.
Hi I would also like to be able to block the Amazon updates what are the addresses that need to be included in the block?

Google Blockada 4.15. I’ve not had any issues with some sites not working.
Having said that, if you’re using an OS7 or OS8 firestick, download APKtime and install Adguard from their app - it’s the full version with no need to subscribe.
I’m just finishing up a 14-day trial of adguard. Haven’t tried it on the fire stick. It works very well on Android windows and Linux. As far as I know it’s the only product that is a system-wide protector for Linux.
I put that on there and it doesn’t block ads from Paramount plus
