After reading a troypoint newsletter, i we going to try out Luffy on Kodi. Reading through the instructions I noticed it was in the "team-crew.github.io. Since I already have this repository downloaded, I was wondering if the Luffy located there was up to date, or if I needed to download the team-crew repo again, or if I can use my downloaded version.
I hope this makes sense.

on firesticks you can set to auto update
They don’t always, I’ve had Loop and Mad Titan not working, so i had to manually update the repository by installing the zip files again.
i set mine to auto update but do check every now and again because of that
I would think you can load it from the crew repository and once installed update it if there is a new version without having to replace the repository. (Just my thoughts.)
