Discord invites

Hi all, fairly new to the world of IPTV but I want to ensure I’m setting out with the best service I can. As per my post yesterday, I’ve tried a lot of the easily available options but before I jump in with a longer term commitment, I was wondering, if theres anyway I could get an invite to one of the more hidden discord communities? Hooterz and Danko seem the popular ones but open to all options.

A little background on why I’ve started this journey which I didn’t mention in my thread yesterday, is that I lost my job last month. Trying to cost cut as much as I can while still keeping the wife and kids as happy as possible. First to go was the expensive TV sub! Anyway, worth a shot to ask and at least then I could make an educated decision on what service to invest in.

Hello I am sorry, but those invites are not available at the moment. Have a look Here. You might find something you like.

Thanks! Already working through the list

I’d be very happy to go on anyone’s waiting list though!

That’s what I did. I picked the number one service the reseller $120 for a year five connections 0 buffering. This issue with invites, picking and choosing who gets them is unsettling.

Who did you end up with?

Initially I had trends for over a year. They’re almost identical to xtreme. They’re the only ones that had all my locals.

Just wanted to thank @hotwheels for all the help and advice today

I agree, but some people join Insider and within hours of just becoming a member are doing posts and PM’s asking for invites. That’s very unsettling, too.

So, either give invites to all who ask or don’t give invites at all. That’s the conundrum.

Imho, any invites should be done in a private message. These services that are invite only and don’t use a website DO NOT want their services advertised in open or “locked” threads.

In fact, it has gotten so out of hand some mods on other forums have pinned a message telling their members NOT to post info about their services. They do not want the unwanted attention it brings.

Also, in most other forums it’s protocol to first ask someone if you can send them a DM/PM.

To be fair, I’m in the boat of signing up then asking. As I explained its about me making the right choice with limited funds but I assume most people have a solid reason for asking!

Get a Kemo Sat (aka: Lemo, Kemo) sub for the time being. They are fairly good, not expensive, and they have their own webpage.

Maybe restrict invites to patrons who’ve been with Troy point for a certain amount of time, kind of like probation!

You can always wait until they build up a minimum number of badges before they’re vetted.

Not everyone who join are here to be productive contributors.

It should be the discretion of the inviter to vet the person that is asking for the sponsoring invite.

One of my providers from discord posted a notice that he wanted people from Troypoint to quit giving out prices for their service and that they didn’t want to advertise

LOL!!! That is funny. If they don’t want to advertise they should not be in Discord. Discord is not some secret locked down place

Just repeating what they said. Even though it’s not secret , a lot of people don’t know you can find iptv services on Discord I’ve been using Iptv for 5 years but found out about discord services at the beginning of last year thru the Iptv section on Troypoint by becoming a Patron. Also have to have an invite from a current user. So it’s not as easy as just googling iptv and a zillion of them pop up.

Yes I’ve been on discord quite a while and know you need to have an invite to get in most of the Discord Servers. I just find it funny that because they are on Discord they think they are safe or hidden. IMO the really good IPTV services have no internet presence and are certainly not on Discord

I agree nothing is totally safe. That’s the reason they don’t want people talking about them on Troypoint or probably anywhere else. The first service I used my neighbor down the street told me about it. His barber told him about it and charged him 20 bucks to set up his firestick.I wouldn’t know any way but word of mouth to find a service without an internet presence. And if I found one how do you subscribe to one without a presence.

There are services that are subscriber invite only (not an invite to a Discord Server) where an existing subscriber needs to give you a link to their trial. The really good ones also hold the person that gives the invite accountable so if the person they invite does something shady their sub will be cancelled.

It seems to me that if a IPTV business locks their membership down as much as he speak of I don’t see how they could have enough customers or make any money?

Agree @Miki and I would say MOST just oversell especially if they are using Resellers
