Diggz keeps switching off

Hello all, I’m new to all this stuff so I am finding my way around. I downloaded the amazing Nexus build a couple of days ago and started to try and learn about all the features. Now though, a lot of the icons when clicked on cause the whole thing to close and default to my firestick Launch Application section. Those features that do open will also cause the default when I click the Home button or back button. Any ideas why this now happening? Thanks, Bob

i would think diggz build is using to much space causing the problem best to pick your own apps and ditch the build

Hello and thank you for replying. I had wondered that and I often get a ‘Low on storage space’ message on the firestick despite having a 32gb memory card inserted! Regards, Bob

the memory card will just add storage ie for apps the stick will still have low disc space i use stand alone apps and just use kodi for a few apps less problems that way if you let me know what you use the stick for i will send you a list of what i use

Welcome, it sounds like your running out of space. Builds take up a lot of room. If your just learning Kodi, try just it with 1 or 2 add ons. Firesticks and such devices. Lot’s of tutorials on troypoint.com. :v:

Thank you for your replies. Maybe I should qualify my opening message with a bit more detail. I have been happily using my fire sticks for five or more years and also Kodi, updating as and when needed. I keep my stick as free as possible of unwanted stuff also clearing cache’s regularly. I run Kodi, iplayer, ITVX, Ch4, downloader and YouTube, hat’s about it! My last Kodi 19 instal just ran The Crew, Daddylive and Cumination. Troy point ignited my curiosity so I loaded Kodi 20 and followed the guide to the latest version.
Is it new hardware I need to run things or are others running via a PC maybe?
I could go back to the basic stuff but I’m fascinated now lol. Regards, Bob

……I forgot I run IPVanish as well.

No I don’t think it’s a hardware issue except for the storage problem with Fire sticks. The Nexus build is pretty big. I wouldn’t run it on it. Yeah if you had a better box it would probably run perfect. Something with four gigs of RAM, 32 storage. It should run okay on the fire stick but it’s really not necessary as you see you only use a couple of add-ons you can do that with just plain old Kodi. Anyway keep experimenting! Have a great day

Thank you for your reply. I suppose I’m just one of those that if something doesn’t work then I like to know why and fix it! There’s a great deal of satisfaction, for me anyway, about learning and understanding and then eureka, I’ve fixed it lol.
Thanks again for taking the time to answer. I may go back to plain old Kodi for a while🤔 Regards, Bob

I ran that build on my Nvidia Shield Pro with a TG external hard drive an it happened to me all the time . Finally deleted it .
