Hi, I’m running Kodi 19.4 and the latest Diggz build on Nvidia Pro 2019.
How can I get the Weather’s temperatures expressed in Celsius degrees instead of Fahrenheit degrees?
Also how can I have the api key for the maps?
Thank you.
@Lynx44 Hi
Well in Kodi go to Settings> Interface make sure you’re in the Expert view to change it down in the click the wheel and change to Expert.
Than
Regional> to the right you have two sections Language and Unit Formats section.
Unit Formats in this section you can change any formats. Almost down Temperature unit change it from Fahrenheit to Regional (°C).
Those changes will have effect after restarting Kodi.
You can also change the Region, Sort date, Time format and so on.
If above changes didn’t have affect. You can also open Diggzi down in the small menu bar you see Full whether and Whether Settings you can change it there.
Done, thank you so much
The next request was how to get an api key for additional data, I can’t read the full URL suggested to get the key, as the shown from the URL is
https://weatherb…, so how to get it? Thank you.
If you’re seeing the wether cast in your language in Kodi than all set. If not you have to configure an add-on with your location city. I use Gismeteo I found it very good.
I don’t think you need an API key to configure the wether in Kodi.
This key will be provided to you if you have a subscription by one of the wether website or station or other wether institution subscribed to they can provide the API key thei can also charge for money
To configure Gismeteo in kodi go to
Kodi Settings> Services Expert view must be on same as I mentioned in my earlier post.
Weather to the right under General
Click on Service for weather information and select the station you want in my case I proffered Gismeteo but of course you can select other one if you wish. Then click ok
Under Service for weather information
Click on -Settings> Location setup to the right
Location 1 type the name of your city menu will pop-up select the correct city location.
Restart kodi and all is set.
Hi Matrix and thank you for your second reply.
I filled in fact three locations, but the only one appearing on the screen is location 1, would you please tell me how to alternate between locations?
Thank you.
Hi Matrix
I just found that I can change the weather location from the “Full Weather” button, so no need to trouble yourself with my last question.
Thank you
