I was updating the ‘Webview App’ on my Shield today and of course to be able to do so you have to disable the Developer Options. Well, after I did the update. I went back into settings and thought I was clicking on the Build setting to reactivate the Developer Options.
In my hast, I clicked on the wrong setting (either Model, Model Number, or maybe Version). I don’t remember which setting I was clicking. I wasn’t paying much attention to what I was doing because I have enabled DV quite a few times before.
Anyway, as I was hurriedly clicking on that setting a pop-up message displayed stating Shield Developer Options Enabled. In the attachments you can see some of the settings in the SHIELD Developer Options. I really have no clue what these options are for or what they can do. I left them as they were.
So, any of you hardware techies out there (@TXRon) who might have a clue what this is. Then please chime in.
Fyi, the pic of the green circle came up when I repeatedly clicked on ‘Version’ in the About setting. I have no clue what it is supposed to represent…maybe some sort of directional button?
