Oh I didn’t mean to infer that you shouldn’t use whatever you like, just that the Shield Pro is top of the heap for most things and that there are many here who could help you resolve any issues you are having. Streaming for example. I use it daily with an amazing picture and sound. Tivimate is my preferred IPTV player. I don’t game but the Shield Pro rates highly in that department.

So I have a SanDisk - Ultra 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive on my Nvida Shield Pro. But, not sure how to access it from the Shield. I’m guessing I need an app for that, I have heard of Xplore but not sure if that’s what I need. I’m guessing something like on my Windows PC, “computer icon” where it shows all the drives and you can move data from one to another.
I’m looking for a simple app to get to the Flash Drive. Thanks in advance for your help.

my shield was doing the same thing…the fan was bad…bought a new fan off ebay…problem solved
