Specs look good, price unbelievably very low BUT do you think the OS will be supported?
When you set this up, do not use your normal Google ID as you will not know if data is shared by this device and with who - as far as I know, this device runs a modified Android mobile OS and is not certified by Google

Cheap processor but never know. What type of ram? no wifi6, does it specify ddr4 anywhere or better yet LPddr4? I’m gona bet its ddr3…just a hunch

Ehhhh? I have nothing against Cheap Chinese boxes and have 2, 7 year old T95Z Plus boxes that still work great but are now semi retired as I’ve switched them out for ONN Pro 4K. My issue is why order from Alibaba? There’s plenty of cheap Chinese boxes on Amazon and if you don’t like it you can walk into your local Whole Foods, dump it off on a counter and get credited back instantly. You don’t even need to box it back up. With Ali I guess you would need to ship it back to China.

It shows Android 13. Shipping is more than the price of the box.

Still under $24 USD…
I’m sure this is gonna be a ‘stock Android’ box; if you don’t need Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, etc, this sounds like an excellent toy.

Edit: The promo video shows 1-2 G RAM, 8GB ROM.
Which is it?
If it’s 2GB/8GB, you’d be better off going to Walmart for an ONN 4k box for $20.

For $24, at worst it’ll be a few hours of fun getting it set up.

I tried the same type of box, however, future recording on Tivimate was an issue since Tivimate would not allow me to schedule a future or even on going ( like everyday or every week) recording on thumb drive (or harddrive) . Have you tired this yet, and if you have , no one has seemed to come up with a realistic workaround, have you?

If a box has 128GB (or even 1/4 of that) there’s really no need to record to an external drive. If you want to archive the recording(s), it’s not difficult to use a file manager to move the recording(s) to an external drive.

absolutely

But have you actually tried to do a scheduled record on Tivimate with this box? When I had that box, it never worked corectly because I was told that Tivimate didn’t function for scheduled recording on anything over 11.0 . It would show recorded , but you could not play it back.

tivimate will work if you return box to factory state…then format your HD as internal storage…then move your data over…then install your apps and have tivimate record to internal storage wich it does by default…work’s great

i went ahead and ordered one…should be here 1st week of september

i’ll let you guys know how it goes…very bad reviews on buzzkill greenbox

Agree. If one is going to spend that much $, better to buy the new Ugoos SK 1 or the AM8 Pro.
