Lol… i had to google the songs opening line to understand the meaning.
“So you told me that your dog ran away. Then you told me that it took 3 days.”
Meaning the horizon is so far he saw his dog running away for 3 days.
Never would have thought of that living where i am.

I’ve never heard anyone in Canada respond to the height question in metric.

I even get confused with Imperial measurements. A US gallon is %20 smaller than a canadian Gallon and I saw a US basketball player in the olympics who was 5 foot 20 . So it’s no wonder our Dollar is way smaller than the USD. Imagine our buildings.

JPM69, I’ve not paid attention to the opening song. That’s hilarious about seeing the dog running away for 3 days.
Thanks PapaS, I pondered that height quip, but figured that it must have been true.
Miki, isn’t it the Canadian Loonie?

Not speaking for Miki but if I remeber my time in Montreal many years ago, the Loonie is what they call their dollar coin. Like nickels and dimes.
I remeber the Loonie ($1Cnd) and Twonie ($2 Cnd) coins.
Good times…cant believe it was almost 25 years ago.
