How do you conect the Fire Stick to a computer that is not Android??

An HDMI input is extremely rare - I’m not aware of any computers that come with one - HDMI output, yes.
Mine is a Dell Inspiron 5477 (about 5 years old) and has both HDMI input and output connections.
If your computer does not have an HDMI input, you will need an HDMI to USB Video Capture device and OBS Studio software, as explained by the YouTuber below. You still have to use the Firestick remote for navigation, since this technique doesn’t give you mouse or keyboard control (so I’m not sure what this buys you).
The Vysor app will give you remote access from your computer to your Firestick, and provides keyboard and mouse functionality. Troypoint tutorial here:
