did a search and couldn’t find an answer about anti virus protection on computers?
what is everyone using? i disabled windows defender on my win 11 desktop and laptop because it’s a piece of crap and doesn’t like you to install anything not microsoft approved? f’that …also wondering what you guy’s are using?

MS Defender is actually a pretty effective AV program. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles as some of the bigger paid names, but does a pretty good job at the free price point that it is. The compromise is that it can lean towards the Microsoft agenda.
If you’re willing to pay, some old tried and true brands can still be had at a good price when on sale.
Eset and webroot have graced most of the time on my pcs over the decades.
Bitdefender has been good but seems to leave too much bloat.
Malwarebytes is always recommended.

i use defender and it works pretty ggod altho it will try to kill cracks to MS software,i just disable it,install my cracked software and save it as a winrar file then turn defender back on…work’s great for me
