Cogeco / Bell "Superpods"

Hey all. I have Cogeco internet, I recently came across a Bell “Plume” WiFi Pod, can I change the firmware or the device in some way so it will work with my Cogeco network? I already have my 2 free Cogeco wifi pods on my network. I could use 3 but I refuse to pay more for a already overpriced service…Thanks to all for reading and responding!

I dont think so, they are networked to only work with their own service, as you use the cogeco app i dont think it will see the bell one. And no you cant change firmware on these, they ae locked.

Hmmmmm…anybody got the key?

It just wont happen. Locked entirely to their own network.

Thanks, and you can remove the post if you like! :beers:

I mean you can try to hook it up, but im very positive the other pods wont talk to it. Doesn’t hurt it try. I was a cogeco tech for a while.
