Cinema APK replacement recommendations

I have no idea whats going on with my stuff. I uninstalled stremio and installed it again. Torrentio and all the add ons are still there when I click on the add on section however it’s not showing up in the streams. I went to add ons and torrentio and clicked on configure to see if that would do anything and I get a sorry you have been blocked pop up??? I’m currently using my VPN. IDK what’s going on. Also I can’t get to the stremio bootstrwebsite either on my laptop. Again, i’m using my vpn.

Edit: I reconfigured and synced the add ons from bootstrapper to stremio and all of them come up except Torrentio.

Mine are working as well

My cinema is working watching now

I have ONN and when I open Cinema HD, a notice pops up that effectively immediately, they will not longer that support. It will not show any links.

Same, just opened it and got the same message. Well it was nice while it lasted.

I did the same. Just watched last night. Tried today, no longer working. Licensing issue and I quit amazon, changed to onn, worked for a few weeks, now its not working

Cinema HD Retired….booo

I have the same experience as Lore: switched to Onn, happy for two weeks, and today got “The Message” when I opened Cinema. Is Stremio the closest (functioning wise) to Cinema? I’m asking before I install it on my boxes, because if operation is too different (steep learning curve) my elderly parents (90s) will get frustrated and refuse to use it. Just trying to make it easy on them.

Stremio is good once its installed and set up. You’ll need a debrid service and VPN account though.

New TV app that’s in beta stages..

Just a friendly observation and recommendation from a 10 year KODI user. These crappy APK apps like Cinema, Bee, Onstream, Flix etc……Come, work for a while then always have problems and eventually disappear. Don’t put all your Eggs in one basket. KODI and Stremio have always been around. Learn how to install and maintain one of these and get yourself a good IPTV service or 2. Then you won’t be scramblng when your “APK of the Day” no longer works

Totally agree, but Cinema HD was my favorite and sad to see it leave.

Yeah I’ve always had a backup, but I’ve been using cinema since the it started 8 or 9 years ago. It was truly the most reliable and easiest app to use. Kodi is pretty reliable but I don’t like all the clicks and steps to search and play things compared to cinema. Stremio once you learn the install and get up and running is pretty nice. I wasn’t having much luck with links playing on my Firestick, though it seems to be working well on my onn box. I used all day yesterday day after cinema checked out.

@Mslea I’m sure you know about FRNDLY for Hallmark, Lifetime & GAC/GAF
Subscription is reasonable and there’s more. If interested:

Thanks BigDave,

Just don’t want to pay for streaming. Lol, I like the free stuff so much better. But, I will look at the plans.
