I have a fire tv cube with usb storage attached. I just install an iptv provider that allows recording. Although the iptv app is stored on the usb external storage of the fire tv cube, the recording from the iptv all is being stored on the internal storage. In the iptv app, there is an option to change the path, but I don’t know what the path to the usb storage is.

My current path/storage/emulated/0
What player are you using?
I’m not sure, I’m using the player that comes with the IPTV service or default on the fire cube, I guess.
Go into your file manager and manually move it to your external. Then bring up the details and it will show you the path.
Sorry, I’m kinda new at this. I can’t find a file manager on my 2nd gen fire tv cube, where would it be. I see an app named “files” under managed installed applications, but the only options for it are forced stop, clear data, clear cache.
Download X-plore from the Play Store
Ok, I think I got it
