@JPM69 so if you are using a Build and the Dev uses account manager you authorize RD once in ResolveURL and that authorizes RD across all Addons. At least that is how it works with the Grindhouse Builds. BTW I know what you are watching tonight :rofl:

OK, so first off, i don’t use Kodi, never have-but one day i might !! -…but i do read every post (i may not understand what the heck y’all are talking about but none the less) on this forum just to try and keep up with all the streaming options out there…so maybe i’m confused, but isn’t Diggz part of Kodi ??? And let the razzing begin…

I do not want to “beat a dead horse” and sorry To create some confusion.
Let me say to end this discussion:

  1. after having zero problems for months opening gave error message failure to allow RD expiration free invalid for seren and umbrella. For seren it said try manual which I did and was able to get RD and use with a film.

  2. when I opened Kodi again same message errors(ie seren lost credentials even though put in manually

  3. decided to delete Kodi etc and reinstall Kodi/xenon plus. After downloading Chef Wizard I clicked on it and got technical problem see log. I went to computer to RD. Bought days Clicked on chef wizard and was able to complete install of Kodi/xenon plus Addons and all works.

  4. RD I had a lot of fidelity points and used to by a lot of days. I probably had not purchased from RD for over 3 months.

  5. I still believe account manager validation includes something based on paid subscription expiration date, that somehow it did not see mine because of that even though it is a valid account. Maybe the algorithm has to see paid documentation for a fixed time period and my points days exceeded it( I am sure I was pretty unique in the amount of fidelity days I created at one time)

Anyway. All is well and I appreciate your attention

Glad it worked out.

But I will add that adding time to RD account has absolutely nothing to do with downloading your build or addons. The build errors you saw may have complicated them from communicating but thats about it.

But to be clear. Not taking about adding days. Talking about some kind of time stamp for RD purchase that validates the account versus “fake account

It’s called an API key. That huge string of numbers, letters and symbols. That is tied to your account info and is validated upon connection and addon verification request. The API call to the account verification module on the server triggers the time check, amongst other things, and returns a “Valid” or “invalid”. Now that’s the very simple explanation as other processes are also onvolved.

So I think based on the initial failure error and successful reimplementation after purchase, the verification process includes purchase info to validate account which was lost on my account and may or may not be related to the long duration without purchase because of exceptional large number of fidelity days used.

Not to beat a dead horse but it has been said several times here the number of Fidelity points you use is meaningless to how KODI and Real Debrid operate. Fidelity points are simply a bonus that RD gives it’s customers but again these points are in no way related to any Build’s or Addon’s functionality within KODI. Hope this makes sense
