Recently added Kodi to Firestick 4K. Experiencing buffering issue. With Raspberry Pi and Lenux installations of Kodi, addition of ‘advancedsettings.xml’ to expand cache size resolved the issue. I have remote ftp connection to my firestick, but do not find the 'kodi application (userdata) file. My configuration uses a 256GB memory stick attached with a OTG cable. The Kodi application is resident on the stick.
So, I can build the ‘advancedsettings.xml’ file. However, when I connect to the firestick, I do not see the memory stick or the Kodi files. Need advice re: location of Kodi’s userdata file.
