@Jjh I will be anxious to hear about the Clasic AI to hear how it all is, settings, ease of setup and so on, & from what I am reading searching about the new AI-SR 2 it sounds promising for some excellent video improvements. I also wonder if it will have the AIPQ improvements like my AM9 Pro, but from the reading on their site it doesn’t have Dolby Vision. Still though a decent price for basically the same specs as the AM9 with added AI-SR 2.

I’ll certainly keep you posted, should be here Friday. It would be nice if it supported Dolby Vision. For me though it’s not really an issue. I have a Samsung OLED in my family room and a Sony VPLXW5000ES in my basement/theater room. Neither of those support Dolby Vision. Maybe it’s time I upgrade those two?!

I find HDR, HDR 10 and HDR 10+ to be an awesome pic on my Samsungs. I love watching Attenborough’s Ocean series. The colours are so crisp and bright. Enjoy.

Oh yeah I’m with you! Zero complaints at all. I was kidding, the wife would kill me if I decided to upgrade everything haha.

Received my G Series box yesterday and have it configured. I don’t have the tools to test all the various formats and features, but I have to say that the box is very responsive and haven’t found any glitches thus far. Is it worth the difference between an ONN 4K Pro or whatever they are going to release next? That would be subjective based on the customer expectations. I have a MECOOL KM2 and KM2 Plus Deluxe, along with an ONN 4K Pro. The MECOOL boxes work very well, although they have been saddled with the Android 14 update that doesn’t work the the latest versions of KODI. Of the group, this G Series box seems to be an outstanding performer. Just my $0.02, your mileage may vary.

At this point, when releasing new tv boxes, they should be making them with 2.5GBE

To those not using Rumble. It (at least for me) is the only sure fire way to get/see Troys videos because he is not under googles thumb on this site…. not to mention it’s a pretty cool site.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I THINK Troy said he’d never post something on Rumble that he would not post here too. I hope that’s what I heard. Perhaps I was hallucinating, that happens too.

he links his videos from rumble to this site. Linking to youtube is futile.:joy:
