Buy IMHO and going by what others have said, the AM9 Pro will last for a very long time. Future Proof? Well I think that depends on your definition of future proof. I am waiting for Troy’s review to be better educated and form an informed opinion. I am looking for a reliable backup for the Buzz P6L.
If it steams Prime video and Netflix in 720, shouldn’t the Al upgrade it to at least 1080?
I never have to worry any more about about loosing functionality because of restrictions companies are placing on their hardware and software. I have BuzzTV’s Classic AI that has Android 14 (AOSP). A little tricky getting it installed, but I am extremely pleased with my purchase, especially with Troypoint’s 10% discount.. I’m running Kodi and Stremio with Trakt integration. With Stremio, I’m also using MyTrakt. My VPN loads automatically and I can also watch StreamFire and SportsFire for live TV.

I just installed my BuzzTV Classic AI, but I can’t figure out how to enable Downloader to allow installation of unknown apps. I have developer options enabled.
Settings>apps>Security & Restrictions>Unknown sources.
First on your phone, open an account with APKPure. Then open a browser on BuzzTV Classic AI. Go to APKPre and download Downloader.
That’s not necessary as Downloader can be installed through Google Play on that device. He just needs to do what @Miki posted.

Downloader is pre-installed. The issue was enabling it to install unknown apps.
