Has anyone bought a BuzzTV product this week? Specifically one shipped to the US from Canada. Are there import Tariffs now added? 25-50%???
I looked into buying a Buzz a few months ago, before the latest BS, and the tariff was enough that I didn’t bite. I don’t believe that the new tariffs affect electronics from Canada at all because they’d already been imposed.
Buzz TV has the worst customer service i’ve ever encountered for a box so expensive…Nvidia customer service is the best i’ve ever encounterd even for a box several yrs old and most of the Buzz kill boxes are more expensive than a shield…one day out of warranty and Buzz kill will blow you off…2yrs out of warranty and Nvidia will send you new parts for free
Aren’t Formuler devices also from Canada? My advice if you have a higher tier streaming device is to take care of it and hang onto it. In addition to tariffs, the increasing costs of processor chips and hardware is making these upper end android boxes more expensive. I bought 3 upper end Ugoos devices between 2024 and 2025 before these price spikes and am glad I did.

I think I said before bout me getting three am9pros and awaiting slimbox firmware for it.
But the cost of the parts totally is what stopped us from getting the sk3 we deserved.
That mythical SK3 had specs that would have blown any other android device away. Too bad the cost to produce it would have made it prohibitively expensive to market. Otherwise, Ugoos would have released it. SK 1’s are now going for over $300 and that’s for the “light” version.
Yeeeeeah, sad too because even without slimbox on the 9 just a bit more ram and the box is perfect. It’s one of the first that can out emulate the shield. T_T
