I am lost (what else is new). I have been looking at the $89.95 BuzzTv HD5 and the B5 tv boxes. One has the BT-400 remote control, and the other uses a IR-100 remote control. I am accustomed to a Nvidia shield and Firestick remote control. I need to be sure I get the box with a remote I am used to. I don’t think it is the IR remote but I am not sure.
bt-400 is the latest from buzz. However its nothing like the shield remote
I think people need to stop assuming and relaying on remotes being like shields or firestick. If you are playing on buying something new understand the remote and such will be different its aprt of the learning curve.
Buzz remote is awesome. Also these are uncertified boxes so you wont have quick access Netflix buttons. The bt 400 remote is nice.
Didn’t mean to sound naive. I just wanted to get a remote that I felt comfortable with. I have a couple of IR remote controls but I don’t like them. I think the bt- 400 is the best option.
not taken that way, The remote can make the box so I understand that. My main point is the buzz remote and shield remote are worlds apart. Personally I prefer the simplicity of the shield remote or the ugoos bt remotes. The buzz remote is very robust with enough buttons to fly a space ship 
…but its a great remote.
