ive just never been a fan of chromium based browsers…maybe its just me 
I do keep a copy of stock chromium for only when I need it(rare) and its bloat free.
I’m not a Chrome user, one big reason being that I don’t like the options or lack thereof… but the biggest reason would be that you can’t install uBlock Origin in the Android version of the browser. And why not? That’s what I 'd like to know. Otherwise, yes, for most people Chrome works just fine. It’s just not for me.
Google doesnt allow blocking ads

You can install an ad blocker in Chrome as a plugin. Available in the Playstore I believe. I don’t bother as I rarely surf the net. Mostly doing IPTV.
