Blue screen on firestick

I am trying to use my firestick but I just get a blue screen. Have turned it off and back on and changed batteries but nothing works. Any advice?

First, verify you have the correct port selected on your tv. In other words, if the box is connected to HDMI2 on the TV, verify you have that port selected on the tv. Next, you might want to test using a different cable (cable may be bad). Also, try using a different port on your TV. If you’re using some type of alternate connection, try starting with a simple connection from the box HDMI port to your TV HDMI port. Hope this helps

Unplug the fire tv, wait 1 minute then plug in back in.
