Bind your VPN to your Torrent Client

Sorry, I haven’t got a clue what you’re trying to say (???)

Well if course you’re entitled to your opinion Steve. I wouldn’t have it any other way. The intent was to inspire open dialogue and give some beginners a litlle insight into all the different things that we all do to make our streaming a success. Mission accomplished. This was just a tiny piece of the puzzle. Glad it gave you something different to think about. As to your perspective, that your opinion differs from mine, well darn it, that never even entered into my considerations. Sorry. Oh and I don’t drive. So you’re 0 for 2.

AMD, good question.
There’s one big advantage to having a downloaded file over streaming…you don’t have to have internet access to view the file.

under network interface on my mac I have listed Utun 0, Utun1,Utun2 and Utun 3. Which one do I use>>

I appreciate the topic (and many others here, too) because I wasn’t even aware that was such a thing as ‘binding a VPN to a torrent client’ existed.

Our main daily driver is an old computer with Linux Mint as the operating system. I’m going to try to bind either a ProtonVPN or IPV server to qBittorrent when I get a chance.

Try checking that list with your VPN off and then try with it on and look for the added adapter which should be your VPN.
