Beware Cheap Alibaba IPTV

I just go to settings>EPG>EPG sources>scroll to the bottom and click Add source>then you can choose Enter URL or Paste from clipboard. I usually just use my mini keyboard and Enter URL.

thanks for your reply. One other dumb question. Lets say i have 2 paid iptv services. In Tivimate can i substitute the better of the 2 EPG files into the other IPTV service by typing in other services EPG link?

You don’t need to replace at all
Settings>Playlists>Click on any playlist of your choice>EPG Sources> and you will see any sources you’ve added listed here. All you have to do is enable them all by moving the slider aka radio button, to the right. I presently have 9 sources on every Playlist enabled.

Oh and by the way, there is no such thing as a stupid question only stupid answers :face_with_spiral_eyes:

This is great information. Didn’t think I could have more than one epg working at one time.
Thanks and have a great day

You are very welcome. If you need instructions on how to assign an EPG to a channel with " no information" I can give you instructions and explain the process to you. Have a great day and Merry Christmas :christmas_tree: :gift:

I use alibaba services all the time (amazon seller), and I didn’t even realize they offered iptv.

So out of curiosity I found one that was $18 a year and asked them some questions about xtreme codes etc. 5 minutes later I received all the details for a 24 hour test run.

I received 4 addresses, and set them all up so I would have a backup if one failed.

Even though it was only a 24 hour test, I have to admit I am greatly impressed with the service. I tried just about every country and randomly selected channels and they all worked perfectly. Plus everyone I tried was HD with the exception of some from Vietnam and Costa Rica. Australia, UK, USA were buffer free for me, and my download speed was only 35mps.

For $18 a year to me it’s a no brainer.

I’m signing up for the year, I’ll let everyone know if it all goes to South.

Regarding epg I know there is the ability to timeshift. It looks like however some channels the guide is on time but others may be behind. Is there a good way to determine if a time shift is required other than trial and error?

Trial and error for the EPG time shift. Seems to be the only way

Agree with Miki. My first week in all is good. Dice are still in play on longevity.:hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

Thx, really appreciate feedback :handshake:

Seems to be working fine for me.

Same with me I have 2 different services through them, one at $24 a year and the other a 4K server at $35 a year. Sometimes the EPG fails for a while but it eventually comes back. Well worth the money

Where do I find this Alibaba IPTV? I’ve been looking for a link but I can’t find anything.

I’ve had the Amber Babies version for a couple of weeks now and the trial went great, but as soon as I subscribed, I haven’t been able to watch anything without a problem. She said to use IPTV Smarters Pro to view the streams. Maybe I should try it in Tivimate, though when I asked her about it, she said Smarters would be best. I have a couple of other IPTV services that work great. I figured I was throwing away $18 to see what I would get, and so far it’s been useless.

I have it in TiViMate and have found many excellent channels to watch without much buffering. Every day I am refining my selections and using them for backups to my main 2 services. It’s a lot of work but I’m starting to see results.

The Alibaba services sell many different urls. What I have from AmberBaby may not be the same url you got from her.

I would go ahead and install on both players and see. It won’t hurt anything to try. If you still experience excessive buffering. Then message her and ask for an alternative url.

I use Amber’s Alibaba service on my Tivimate player and it works pretty good. Also, you didn’t mention whether you are using a vpn. If so try turning it off. If the buffering stops. Then try different servers and protocols.

I had the same experience after less than 24 hours. I’m disappointed as the service was excellent when it was working. On a positive note, I got a full refund.
