you can either upgrade to a better fire or go up to a surface tablet. A fav of mine is the chuwi Hi10 go tablet. Much more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I use my Amazon Kindle Fire 10" Tablet daily. Streaming, IPTV, emails, games and web surfing just to name a few things. Great for traveling! But my kindle is getting old and looking for a new tablet. Amazon has a new tablet 11" 4gb RAM 64 gb storage with Fire OS for $230. Looking around I discovered these budget tablets and wondered if anyone has experience or opinions:
Samsung S6 10.4" screen, Android12, 4/64 gb, $250
Lenovo P11, 11.5" screen, Android 12, 4/128 gb, $200
ONN 11 tablet, 11" screen, Android 13, 4/128 gb, $159

Most have additional storage for additional cost, SD card slots and USB C slot

Please reply with any experience you may have. Google Play Store is available on all but Amazon products.

I have the lenovo p11 and love it. Its actually became my hub for all things. I stream on it away, play basic card “time killin” games and easy to carry. The onn tablet is similar to a fire tablet just with google.

I’ve got a Fire HD 10 that’s converted to a regular Android tablet with bloatware removed. It’s perfect for my needs and supports full 1080p resolution. I’ve got a MoKo case on it that doubles as a stand. It’s perfect when flying on plains because it’s the perfect size to set on the tray table. Also can just close the cover and it will go to sleep.

Do you know if those Fire HD 10 tablets can still be debloated using the Fire Toolbox?

Appears to still be running fine. There’s even a toolbox for the newer Fire Max 11.

Says it’s still working, but somewhat limited now unlike before… for best Fire Toolbox mod results, firmware prior to 7.3.2.2 is preferred. I was getting ready to do it on a Fire HD 10, but it’s running 7.3.2.8 :grimacing: :worried:

Just did this for the 11. Worked great. Doesn’t seem to officially shut down OTA updates yet, but stay posted…
