Just wondering what the consensus is on the best player is to use for recording on tivimate? Just leave it as is, with what it comes with, or change it to an external player like IMPlayer, MX Player Pro, etc. Opinions greatly appreciated. Running Firestick 4K Max, with a thumb drive attached, or a Mecool KM6 Deluxe if the firestick is misbehaving.
ive had no issues with the built in player. Tivimate has its own recording function but not dependant on the player.

Past posters have listed problems with tivimate recordings…if there is a buffering hiccup during the recording tivi seems to just stop recording, so it all depends on the stability of your stream source. I generally don’t have a problem, but it has happened once or twice. Here is a search about the problems mentioned…

U can also try ADM,(Advanced Download Managr, i use it for movie apks) it might be a scoash fastr, but I too use the native plyr & dwnldr

Built in is fine.
External:
- Just player
- Mx player
- Vlc

Agree, built in player is fine. I have used MX Pro at times which I found is better for rewind and fast forward.
