Best Real Debrid Alternatives for Reliable Streaming

I am CDN why would I pay in USD? I’d lose big time on the exchange. Paid through PP and it’s the CDN PP.

You forgot to mention the daily limit of data on RD is just over a whopping 1.5TB’s so if you like to watch a lot of remux movies, with some over 170gb then you would struggle to exceed that limit lol

@Avid08 is correct. PM does have a fair use policy of a whopping 1 Terrabyte. When communicating with them they had a forum where they were asking ppl what improvements they would like to see. The top one was an increase in the Fair usage. So hopefully they are going to do that, especially after the influx of new users. I love that I can choose one of their servers that provide me with the best speed by testing them in my PM panel, then choose my VPN server that is closest to that. Great speeds. With the two of them I have a total of 2.5TBs a month. So I can’t see I will use all of that.

For me the biggest thing that irks me about PM’s fair use point system is the fact that the points replenish fully whenever you pay, on top of the 30 that regenerate every 24 hours. So people who pay monthly can be more generous with their use, and people who take one of the 2 or 3 year deals are at a disadvantage despite paying a bigger sum up-front, because they have to fully plan around the 30 points per day, nothing else.
Usenet downloads also really eat into the points, I would really like them to change the GB:Point ratio for those.

Trust me. Hundreds of us have asked for this. I specifically asked for double the present fair use to 2TBs. They did have to add more servers with all the hubub around RD and a huge influx of members. So lets hope they hear us.

The 1TB is cloud storage that is not included for streaming its for personal storage. I was saying you can access 1.5Tb of streaming data per day with RD unless you are using a data center or non-residential IP address

With PM you will get 1000 points which equates to 1000gb for the monthly plan and you will receive that every month plus 30 points daily which equate to 30gb. On the monthly plan this roughly works to 64gb of streaming data a day. On the yearly plans I think you just get the one of 1000 points and then 30 points a day which works out to about 33gb a day. If you run out of points you have the option to buy boosters points.

For me RD is a better choice because you will never reach their fair usage amount not even if you had several people in the same household streaming high quality large files.

You don’t have to plan with RD because it’s difficult to reach their fair usage limits.

1.5TBs a day??? I have never heard of that policy with RD. There isn’t any premium server service that allows that much that I’m aware of. So With both RD and PM I have way more than I would ever need. Awesome tx for the info. I never use any cloud downloading as I never download.

I just spent the last 10 minutes hunting around RD to find their fair use limits. I read everything in their policy and couldn’t find any reference to 1.5 TBs. Any chance you could point me in the right direction?

This is the sort of thing that worries most. From their policies.

The User acknowledges not to use our service to download copyright infringement digital files punishable by a suspension of his account and reporting to competent organizations and authorities: Société des Auteurs de l’Audiovisuel (SAA), etc.

They don’t really advertise it but I know people that have downloaded that much in a day and never received a fair usage warning. But that is excessive and not anywhere near what a regular user would use.

I read about people saying RD shut them down after 600GB daily downloads. What they categorize as fair use has never been 100% clearly been specified by them as far as I know.

Their behavior on Trustpilot towards the end of last year when the law came down on them also shook my faith, with them saying they will gladly share customer data. That is a gigantic no-no for me for a service of this kind, on top of the archaic one IP-limit that has gotten people banned from innocent things like automatic switches from wifi to mobile data.

I just looked at my usage and with the countless hours I watch I have used under 700 GBs this month and with PM at I get 1.9TBs a month so with both I am g2g. Would be nice if Fair usage for RD was clearly shown and not just guessed. It’s clear with PM, something else I like.

I have exceeded that daily limit. I think there is a speed component to the RD limit. When I have went over, I have used Jdownloader and has a speed throttle set. The people hit by the limit seem to try to saturate their connection. Or it is possible they use network load etc. to enact a limit to keep overall performance high.

I have several of the services and use them all since all have different files in their cache. I’m picky about the exact file I want so it is worth it to me since all are very cheap when you factor in what you get. Everyone is different though.

I have seen users on reddit mention they have exceeded the limit without a fair usage violation. But I would think if you did it on a regular basis then your account would get flagged for sure.

For most PM users on the monthly plans 64gb a day is ample but for some it may not be.

Those are rookie numbers, you gotta pump them up

I know I’m not normal (just ask my wife) I just checked with my ISP and I’m at 11TB so far this month and have 2 weeks left.

I have a Plex server for family so some of that is upload but I definitely get my money out of the unlimited internet.

I think PM needs to up the fair use points recovered per day or reset those on longterm plans to full points at the beginning of each month.

Do you mainly download from RD and add the content to your Plex server?

Those on long term plans are only getting just over 30gb a day

Hmmm Never knew there was a Fair usage limit on RD. And been using RD for many years. But ever since I’ve had IPTV I use KODI much less as more and more of my shows/movies are VOD on IPTV.

I stream some in Stremio/Syncler/Kodi but also maintain a Plex server with “good movies” and favorite series. It is somewhere around 110TB right now, but I prune it back every now and then.

I have Usenet and use RD for the cache since it still has some files that are almost impossible to torrent or find anywhere else. I also have others like PM and Torbox because PM has some files that RD does not etc. I paid for TorBox when they had a promotion just to support an option outside of France. They are all a little different and I haven’t had any real problems with any of them.

Most people just want “A Movie” but I’m picky and care about the encode/which cut/ audio etc. and the little extra expense is worth it for me to get the exact file I’m looking for. As a bonus I don’t worry when a service has problems or goes down.

I’m with you when it comes to Video quality. I have a Samsung TV and being the Tizen OS the best I can get is HDR10+ and between PM and RD I can usually find one. What a picture. That and Dolby Atmos it’s like a theater in my livingroom. Gotta love this hobby.

Yep, having access to the best files turns you into a video snob quick.

Even though HDR10+ is royalty free but still has annual fees it’s only 10bit compared to DV which is 12bit so technically inferior. When TV panels become 12bit then HDR10+ will be left behind. More content available in DV is another factor.

Also Dolby Vision is designed to deliver content as the creator intended in terms of other picture elements such as colour and motion.
