hi everyone i installed a skin on kodi and im wondering how i incorporate the skin with the add on that are in the add on area. i have a nice skin but i still need to go into add on’s to open them. also there are so many cool add on features in the skin set up area how do they work with add on sites? i could get a already built build but i would like to try and build my on kodi build thanks for any input i can get.
So I looked carefully at TP’s new KODI Skin post. Curious what @PapaS and @SoloWarrior use? Is it easy to switch back to basic? I kinda like the BINGIE one. Please advise peeps. I’m on Android for both boxes but I doubt that matters. I just searched and found this post vs. creating a new one which can ruffle mgt feathers

@GraceWilson Been in this hobby for a decade and using KODI that long. Never been one to Tinker much with Skins, Launchers, etc……Never changed up the Skins. For me all this stuff is just a vehicle to get the content I want to watch. Occaisionally I’ll test out new Builds, apps, addons, etc but if something is working I tend not to mess with it until it breaks. And it will break

I’ll add my 2 cents even though you didn’t ask…
The build I have (Diggz Xenon) uses a tweaked version of Confluence (they call it Xonfluence I think) and I really like the layout and navigation.
You can switch to other skins they have inside the build with a click of the button. But I stay with their Xonfluence set up. They have Eminence, Fentastic, Flix and Artic as well.
This is one of the reasons I like builds. The developer does all the work and we get to enjoy (or not lol).
BTW, this post is 18 months old so things might have changed.

Huge fan of aeon nox silvo. Super easy to switch between skins, one click. Alot of good tutorials on how to setup and customize this skin. You can build this with so many personal preferences it’s crazy. Add family pics for backgrounds or movie posters or anything you want. You can create shortcuts everywhere set to your preferences. A skin to me is like a toy you never get sick of playing with. Always making it more personal.

After reading the thoughtful and kind responses of my fellow insiders, I’ve defaulted to LEAVE IT ALONE because I’m too lazy to deal with it. I know how to work KODI just fine with the plain ole skin and it’s easy. At my advanced age, easy rules the day. Stremio resembles Bingie so if I get the hankering, I’ll use Stremio for a while. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
